Overview

Join this program to continue the 2023 Junior Academy training program. The U6 age group training session will focus on creating a foundation for the game through a variety of fun whole-group and small-group soccer-specific activities that increase comfort level on the ball. Players develop basic technical skills with an emphasis on developing proper movement patterns for the game of soccer.

The U7-U8 group training sessions follow a variety of training methodologies. Each session will utilize a Play, Practice, Play model as well as station rotation to improve their overall technical ability. Players are organized into training groups separated by gender and birth year.

The Junior Academy continuation training is also designed for U6-U8 players looking for extra training beyond recreation training. Players can join these 4 sessions and return to their recreation teams in the spring.

WHEN: Thursdays on Nov. 9, 16, 30; Dec. 7, 14         

TIME: 5:00-6:00 pm 

WHERE: Hampton Roads Soccer Complex Turf (2276 Recreation Dr. Virginia Beach, VA 23453).

COST:  $80 

Wear shin guards and bring water. Don't forget your soccer ball.
