PARENT CODE OF CONDUCT 

Beach FC believes that the attitude shown by parents toward the coaches, the referees, fellow parents, the opposing players are of paramount importance, and we expect the highest standards of courtesy, sportsmanship and positive behavior among our parents, their players and families at all times.
 

Parents Expectations

As a Beach FC parent, you are an integral part of your player's support team. It is important that our parents always observe the guidelines established by Beach FC, Leagues, and US Youth Soccer.

As a Beach FC parent, I will…

Support Beach FC, the coach, the manager, and the team
Encourage my child’s experience and play on the field
Teach and practice good sportsmanship and self-discipline by personally demonstrating these virtues
Remember that soccer is a game; players and parents of the other team are opponents, not enemies
Familiarize myself with the laws of the game 
Respect the authority of officials and accept their decisions
Comply with rules, policies, and procedures of the team and the club
Discuss my child…
1. ONLY with my coach, not with the manager or others
2. Only at a time mutually agreed with by the coach
3. Never prior to, during, or directly after the game
Consult the appropriate Beach FC director(s) on any issue not resolved after speaking with the coach
Remember that I am responsible for the conduct of all visitors I bring to team events 

Further I will never…
Engage in any kind of unsportsmanlike conduct with a coach, manager, player, parent, or official
Be a sideline coach or official
Interfere at any time with the duties and responsibilities of the coach or manager
Act in any way that is detrimental to the team or Beach FC
